Overview
The Newsroom keeps you current without the scrolling. Sera scans trusted sources for the topics on your watchlist and fills a feed of articles and videos. Each story comes with a short brief, so you can respond with a timely point of view. Click Newsroom in the left rail, under Home.
Set your watchlist
- Click Edit watchlist.
- Add a company, term or theme. You can follow up to 20 terms.
- Turn on Include videos to add interviews and talks you can play in the feed.
Use More like this and Less like this on any story to tune what you see.
Browse the feed
- Filter by watchlist topic, and by All, Articles or Videos.
- Search the feed. Press Enter to search the news live. A live search does not change your watchlist.
- Click refresh to pull a fresh scan.
Turn a story into a post
- Open a story and click Ask Sera's take.
- Talk it through: type, use the mic, or answer on webcam. What you say shapes the post.
- Click Generate post and pick a channel. Long-form LinkedIn is an option.
- Sera drafts in your voice, grounded in your Brain. Open the draft from the card or from Content.
On a video story, Generate post attaches the video to the draft.
Clip a video story
- Top clips: Sera picks the strongest moments and cuts up to 8 vertical clips with captions.
- Max clips: cuts the whole video into 4 to 10 clips.
- Add to library: saves the story's video or image to your Library.
Clips usually take a few minutes. Finished clips land in your Library.
Good to know
- Reading the Newsroom and talking a story through with Sera are free within fair use.
- A draft is charged when you approve it, like any other draft: 1.5 credits for an X or LinkedIn post.
- Top clips cost 2 credits per clip. Max clips cost about 5 credits per source minute.
- If clipping fails, your credits are refunded.
