The Control Center is the command surface for Sera's independence. Everything she can do without you — replying, engaging, publishing, pursuing goals — is governed by explicit toggles here. The philosophy is simple: Sera earns autonomy one switch at a time, every switch starts off, and you can flip any of them back at any time.
Approval mode controls how drafts move from written to published. By default, every draft waits for your approval in the Queue — nothing publishes without your sign-off until you decide otherwise. This is the default on every plan.
Engagement covers replies and comments. When enabled, Sera can engage in conversations on your behalf. Like everything in the Control Center, it is a gated toggle — off until you explicitly turn it on.
Outward engagement lets Sera participate in relevant conversations she finds — approval-first. She surfaces the opportunity and her proposed contribution, and you approve before anything is posted. You get the reach of active participation without ever being surprised by something posted in your name.
Control how often Sera's good-morning SMS check-in arrives. Tune the cadence to match how much material you want to feed the knowledge base between weekly interviews — or however much morning texting you can stand.
On the Envoy tier — currently in private beta — Sera can pursue autonomous multi-step goals: plan the steps, execute them, and report back. Plans come to you for one-click approval, so even at full autonomy you remain the editor-in-chief. Autonomy is an explicit opt-in, like every other switch on this page.
