Getting Started_

X Auto-Replies

Overview

‍

Sera can reply to comments on your X posts for you, in your voice, usually within about a minute. She keeps replies short, skips what does not need an answer, and learns from how you reply yourself. Inbound DMs are a separate switch.

‍

‍

Turn on auto-replies

‍

  1. Connect your X account in Integrations.
  2. Open Sera Control Center (press Ctrl+K or Cmd+K and type "Sera control").
  3. Under X engagement, turn on Automated comment replies. Turn on Automated DMs too if you want Sera to work your inbound DMs.
  4. Under Auto-publish consent, click Sign opt-in for Auto-replies to my X comments and DMs.

‍

‍

Who can use it

‍

Auto-replies run when all of these are true:

  • Your workspace has finished onboarding.
  • You are on a paid plan with credits left.
  • You have signed the opt-in above.
  • Your X account has finished a 7-day warm-up. New accounts ease in so the activity looks human. The card shows how many days are left, then shows Live.

‍

‍

How Sera replies

‍

  • Replies are short by default, about 12 words, and vary with the comment.
  • When someone asks a real question, Sera pulls a story or proof point from your Brain.
  • She learns from the replies you write yourself.

‍

‍

What Sera skips

‍

  • Your own tweets.
  • Empty comments and link-only spam.
  • People she has already answered in that thread.
  • Comments you already answered yourself.
  • Posts that have reached their budget of 50 replies.

Abusive comments are never answered. Sera flags them for you instead.

‍

‍

Turn it off

‍

Switch off Automated comment replies in Sera Control Center. Sera stops replying right away. You can also click Revoke on the opt-in to withdraw consent.

Good to know

‍

  • Each reply costs 1 credit. Each auto-DM costs 1.5 credits.
  • When your credits run out, auto-replies pause until you top up or your plan renews.
  • Auto-replies are separate from your post approval mode. Turning them on does not change how your posts publish.
