Overview

Sera's job is to know your business deeply, and that only works if the knowledge stays yours. This page covers how your data is handled, what you can export and when, and the controls that keep publishing in your hands. The short version: your knowledge trains no one else, it leaves with you if you go, and Sera never posts without your sign-off unless you explicitly say she can.

Your data trains no one else

Your recordings, transcripts, and knowledge base are never used to train a model that serves another customer. This applies to every interview format — SMS threads, phone calls, and webcam sessions alike. What Sera learns from you stays in your workspace and works only for you.

You own the knowledge base

Every node of your knowledge base is markdown, and all of it is exportable at any time — including after you cancel. There is no lock-in format. If you leave, the asset you spent months building leaves with you, readable in any text editor.

Approval before publishing

Nothing publishes without your approval until you explicitly turn autonomy on. Approval-first is the default on every plan: drafts wait in the Queue for your sign-off, and engagement features are gated behind their own toggles in the Control Center. Autonomy is a deliberate opt-in you control, and you can switch it back off at any time.

Encryption and payments

  • Data is encrypted in transit and at rest — recordings, transcripts, knowledge base, and generated assets alike.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. No card data touches Sera's servers.

Channel connections

Connections to LinkedIn, X, and your other channels use OAuth. Sera never stores your channel passwords, and you can revoke any connection at any time from the Connectors page without affecting the rest of your workspace.
