Sera's core loop starts with a conversation, not a blank page. Instead of asking you to write, she interviews you — and you choose the format: an SMS text thread, a phone call, or a webcam video session. The target cadence is about nine minutes a week. Every answer lands in your knowledge base and becomes source material for drafts written in your voice.

Text interviews

Verify your phone number in Settings and Sera can interview you over SMS. Answer between meetings, from the back of a cab, whenever a thought hits — the thread format means there is no session to schedule and no app to open.

Phone calls

‍

Prefer talking? Sera runs the interview as a voice call. Speak naturally; she asks follow-up questions and captures everything you say into the knowledge base.

Webcam sessions

‍

The webcam interview runs in your browser with live speech-to-text, so Sera follows what you are saying as you say it and asks natural follow-up questions instead of marching through a fixed script. Video sessions also produce recordings and transcripts — see the Recordings guide for how those become social clips.

The daily check-in

Beyond the weekly interview, Sera sends a daily good-morning SMS check-in with grounded questions, rotated through your recent material and your knowledge gaps — never the same generic prompt every day. Answer when you have something to say; the cadence is adjustable in the Control Center.

Where your answers go

‍

1. Every answer is captured into your knowledge base.
2. Sera draws on that knowledge when drafting posts, threads, and articles.
3. You review drafts in the Queue and approve what publishes.
